Why does civilazation have laws?

I think civilazations has laws because without laws the world would be maham! Everything in shops will be taken, people would get shot, everyone driving would crash because they would all run red lights. I think hammurabi's laws were meaniful i say that because if someone builder killed someone because the house dell down with the owner in it, and the owner dies; the builder himself gets sentanced to death because it is like the saying " an eye for an eye" what you give you get.

Guns, Germs and Steel part 2

How did the movie compare the Middle East (Fertile Crescent) and New Guinea?
The movie compared the middle east and new guinea by saying New Guinea only used pigs as animals to help them farm while the middle east used cows, and goats. Also while i am talking about farming, when the middle east were farming, they just through grain/wheat and barley on the floor while in New Guinea, they dug a hole and planted their food.
Did one have more of an advantage than the other? What were the advantages?
I think that the Middle East had more of an advantage then New Guinea because the Middle East used animals to farm while they looked, gathered, and hunted for food. While New Guinea had to do all the work because pigs had no strength. so the people in New Guinea were more tired than the people in Middle East.

How did the advantages effect their lives and how they progressed through time?
The Middle Eastern people had more time to find food, plant food, and care for their family and community were more advanced in technology because they had time to do their own stuff so they were more social wherelse, in New Guinea they had no time for themselves because they had to farm, make clothing and much more all by themselves. therefore, the Middle Eastern people had more advantages than the New Guinea people. Now everyone in the world is more civilized than the middle Eastern people.

Connect, Exted,and Challenge

I think that this activity was interesting because... Everyone could share what they knew and wanted to know about the e movie. Overall this was a good discussion because if i did not know what barley was my friends could help tell me/ explain to me what it means ( i do know what barely means). I also think that whoever did not fill up anything like a box did not quite understand what the movie was about. I think none of us understood what everything meant.

Guns,germs,and steel

In humanities today for my headline i choose "A walk down memory lane." I chose this because, they went back 250 million years ago when the earth's countries were all together. It showed us what people in the Middle East and New Guinea did to hunt, gather, and live. I thought that the people there were smart in the sense that they could find the right food and hunt down animals that would be satisfactory to themselves and their tribe. Overall i liked the movie and can't wait to watch it again.

Kl vs Early Human

I think that when we talked about the similarities in transportation, we both use our feet to run, walk, and skip. But, early humans did not have religion and we do. I think that the wall of thoughts is very interesting because it gives all of us a chance to say what we think about what we thought early humans and KL used to be a civilization. Kl is more civilized because we have more technology and money where else in their days they had to hunt for their food, build their own houses, and they did not have money.

What makes Kuala Lumpur a civilization?

People, energy, and hope makes Kuala Lumpur a civilization. We all strive together as a community to make Malaysia a better place for us citizens. We us all our basic tools and needs to help us and one another to stay alive and healthy. We all need energy because toilets use energy, banks use energy and much more. And that is what makes Kuala Lumpur a civilization.

Let's blog about blogging!

What does appropriate blogging look like?

When we don't tease or make fun of someone on our blog, Where we do not give out any private infomation.

Who is the audience reading your blog?

Our audience is many people, our parents, friends, teachers, classmates, and most of all people around the world.

How much information do you want to share with that audience?

You do not want to tell people where you live and what your phone number is. It may seem fun to tell people but you don't know if you can trust everyone around you.

SPCA!!

I think that the SPCA should continue going to schools around Malaysia and that might convince lots of of other people to help the animals. I know that SPCA is doing there best, but why do people have to be so mean!?!? The pictures that they showed us was very sad and the animals don't deserve to be treated badly, their are just innocent creatures that needs someone to care for them. We shouldn't buy animals from the pet shop, yes the animals at the pet shop might be more healthier or cuter but if you adopt from the SPCA you will help at least one innocent life. We can make a difference!

Call it courage

I really like Call it courage. If i could i would read it again and again (but sadly i can't), anyway the author described Mafatu really well. But I think the author could describe how the people on Hikeoru like his dad felt when they relied Mafatu was gone. Other than that i think the book was great. The words were easy to understand but they could have just called the eaters of men (Canaveral's).
